The rescue parachute Slimpack T 204 is an FAA and EASA certified parachute for persons, and is used as an emergency parachute for glider and motorised aeroplane pilots and balloonists. Weight is about 6,9 kg and dimensions are 94cm long, 41cm wide and 6cm thick.
There is a choice in three types of buckles and eight colors.
Standard buckles are: Quick Ejector Snaps at the hips and a Thread Thru Adapter at the chest.
Optionally a static line release and inflatable cushions are available. Carry-bag and EASA Form-I are included.
Operational specifications:
Maximum dropping speed at maximum operation weight 400 km/h (216kts/278 mph) at 100kg (220 lbs)
Minimum opening altitude for horizontal flight and immediate opening: 100m at 400 km/h
Minimum opening altitude in vertical fall: 100 m
Rate of descend: > 5 m/s at a weight of 80 kg
Packing interval: 8 month
Operating time: 20 years from date of manufacture (date of manufacture may 2020)
Temperature range: -30°C to 65°C
