Warranty & Returns
For any warranty or return, please always contact us in advance.
Warranty
The warranty means that items showing material and/or construction defects within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced free of charge at the supplier's option, or that the parts required for repair will be made available or the items involved will be replaced in their entirety, or refunded depending on and in accordance with the applicable or usual regulations for the goods in question at the supplier. An item replaced or taken back in this way becomes (again) the property of the supplier and must be returned to the supplier.
The general warranty is 2 years. Depending on the type of equipment, it could also be longer. However, some items are not subject to warranty. Such items include, but are not limited to:
- Small parts
- Digital products
- Products with an expiry date
- Sanitary goods
- Parts specifically made or delivered for the customer (or not listed on the website)
As warranties can be very frustrating in the middle of the flying season, we try to keep equipment in stock in order to provide you with a replacement unit if possible. Depending on the type of equipment and the warranty repair, you will be granted either a new device or a demo unit for the warranty repair’s downtime.
Please note, we cannot offer temporary demo versions for orders outside of the EU-union due to shipping and customs rates.
Returns
After placing your order, it is possible to cancel the order as long as it has not yet been shipped. Once the product has been shipped, you may return it.
Orders or items can be returned free of charge within 14 days from when you, or a third party (not being the shipping carrier), acquires physical possession of the order.
As soon as we receive the equipment, it will undergo a quality inspection and a credit (dependent on condition) up to the maximum amount of the subject item will be made by wire transfer. If payment has been made in whole or in part by means of a voucher, credit will be made in this form.
In case of loss of value, a minimum restocking fee of 15% will in all cases be applied. The shipping costs are at the expense of the customer; original shipping and handling fees are not refundable.
Some items cannot be returned. Such items include, but are not limited to:
- Digital products
- Sanitary goods
- Parts specifically made or delivered for the customer (or not listed on the website)
Glider-Equipment is not obliged to take back goods later than 14 days, but can, in some cases, take back goods for a reduced price. Please contact us here.
Conditions for Returns
Products that are returned to us within 14 days with the intent of a credit must meet the following conditions:
- Product(s) must be undamaged and complete
- Product(s) must be returned in the original packaging
- Product(s) must be returned in suitable packaging
The customer bears the costs and risks of returning the product. Glider-Equipment BV is not in any way liable for any damage or losses during the transport of the returned goods.

International Returns
For international returns, please be sure to mark the returned goods as 'for repair' with €0,- (no commercial value). Glider-Equipment is not in any way liable for any customs duties or charges arising from the returns of goods/orders.
