Warranty & Returns
For warranty or returns, please always contact us first.
Warranty
Warranty means that items which show material and/or manufacturing defects within the warranty period will be repaired or replaced free of charge at the supplier’s discretion, or the necessary parts for repair will be provided, or the items will be fully replaced or refunded, depending on and in accordance with the applicable or customary rules for the goods with the supplier. An item replaced or taken back in this manner becomes (again) the property of the supplier and must be returned to the supplier.
The general warranty is 2 years. Depending on the type of equipment, it may be longer. However, some items are excluded from warranty, including:
- Small parts
- Digital products
- Products with an expiration date
- Sanitary goods
- Customer-specific items (or items not listed on the website)
Since warranty cases in the middle of the flying season can be very frustrating, we try to keep equipment in stock to offer a replacement device where possible. Depending on the type of equipment and the warranty repair, you may receive a new device or a demo unit during the downtime of the repair.
Please note: we cannot offer temporary demo units for orders outside the EU due to shipping and customs duties.
Returns
After placing your order, it is possible to cancel it as long as it has not yet been shipped. Once the product has been shipped, you can return it.
Orders or items can be returned free of charge within 14 days from the moment you, or a third party (not the carrier), physically takes possession of the order.
Once we receive the equipment, it will be inspected for condition/quality and a credit (depending on the condition) up to the maximum value of the relevant item will be issued via bank transfer. If payment was made in full or in part with a voucher, the credit will be issued in that form.
In case of loss of value, a minimum restocking fee of 15% will apply in all cases. Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense; original shipping and handling costs are not refunded.
Some items cannot be returned, including:
- Digital products
- Sanitary goods
- Customer-specific items (or items not listed on the website)
Glider-Equipment is not obliged to accept returns later than 14 days, but may accept goods in some cases at a reduced price. Please contact us here.
Return conditions
Products returned to us within 14 days with the intention of receiving a credit must meet the following conditions:
- Product(s) must be undamaged and complete
- Product(s) must be returned in the original packaging
- Product(s) must be returned in suitable protective packaging
The customer bears the costs and risks of returning the product. Glider-Equipment BV is not liable in any way for damage or loss during transport of returned goods.

International returns
For international returns, mark the returned goods as “for repair” with €0 (no commercial value). Glider-Equipment is not liable in any way for customs duties or costs resulting from the return of goods/orders.
