Warning system for broken fan belt for all Austro or Midwest Wankel engines installed in Alexander Schleicher gliders.
If the fan belt breaks or slips, the engine will soon overheat. There is no warning until the engine air temperature reaches 130gr.C. when the Ilec will give an audible warning.
This warning system will alert the pilot as soon as the belt breaks, allowing more time to deal with the situation so structural damage to the engine can be avoided!
The set comes with the necessary parts, but you will need some tools and technical skills to install.
